Administering BigAnt Server, configure your BigAnt Server instance. Complete E-mail settings to make it possible to create online application of BigAnt account for client users. Use the BigAnt SMS Settings to enable SMS notifications.


Server Cluster Config

It’s important to set WAN IP of Web Server Address and File Server Address for client logging in from WAN. At same time, for WAN access you should make sure you’ve made port mapping of follows:

  • BigAnt Web server (default 8000)
  • BigAnt File server (default 8001)
  • BigAnt Login service (default 6661)
  • BigAnt File service (default 6667)

To make it possible to access your BigAnt client from both local network and through internet, you will need to keep the current local server address, add a new group of server and enter your public server IP. So does for loging with a domain name.

SMS Settings

The SMS, short message service, normally provides telecommunications service for companies, and APIs for the third party connection in most cases. It sends messages to mobile phones using SMS, and charges by message quantity.

BigAnt messenger has the capability to connect with SMS API and send mobile messages. However, this will require customization and your local SMS service, also fees that may involved.
